Dr Sai Kiran Kakarla, final year Senior Resident, Department of Cardiology, has won 1st prize in the Indian Heart journal Cardiology Society of India (IHJ-CSI) Annual Thesis Awards 2022 which was presented at the 74th annual conference of Cardiological Society of India, held on 8-11th December 2022, for his thesis entitled “SPECKLE TRACKING ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY IN POST-OPERATIVE ANOMALOUS ORIGIN OF THE LEFT CORONARY ARTERY FROM THE PULMONARY ARTERY (ALCAPA) PATIENTS”.
